The project
The training course "Leadership skills for Youth" is an opportunity to develop leadership skills, knowledge and competencies through non‐formal education.
33 youth workers, youth leaders, current or potential board/ council/ bureau members elected or volunteer leadership positions from 10 countries will work together on their leadership skills in order to set personal and professional goals and have the self-confidence to carry them out, to guide others on a course of action, to influence their  behavior, and show them the way.  The activity will take place in Paralia Ofriniou beach, 8-15/9/2030, travel days included

AIM
Ø  TO SUPPORT THE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OF THOSE WHO WORK IN THE YOUTH FIELD WITH A VIEW TO INNOVATING AND IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF YOUTH WORK ACROSS EUROPE.
The project will equip the youth workers with innovative and improved ways of operating towards their target groups.
It represents an opportunity for professional development.
The training course «Leadership skills for Youth" is an opportunity to learn and practice leadership.

Ø  INCREASE THE CAPACITIES, ATTRACTIVENESS AND INTERNATIONAL DIMENSION OF ORGANISATIONS ACTIVE IN THE FIELD OF YOUTH SO THAT THEY ARE ABLE TO OFFER ACTIVITIES AND PROGRAMMES THAT BETTER RESPOND TO THE NEEDS THE NEEDS OF INDIVIDUALS WITHIN AND OUTSIDE EUROPE.
-To give the youth organisation the opportunity to benefit from the improvement of the leadership skills of the youth workers and the young board members;
-To support youth organisation through capacity‐building and to explore together how to lead youth organisation
-To build on their capacities and the international dimension of their work;

The methodology
Non-formal and informal learning activities will have a participative and learner-centered approach, will be carried out on a voluntary basis and will therefore be closely linked to young people's needs, aspirations and interests.

The project is expected to have a positive influence in the quality of work of the participating NGOs and is also expected to have a spill-over effect with local stakeholders in each participating country.
The results expected include a higher quality of youth projects in the participating organizations, rise in visibility through an amelioration of their dissemination strategy, and also development of skills.
The participants will receive non-formal education training by the sessions based on aims and objectives as follows:
*        To support the participants develop a wide range of leadership skills.
*        To improve the Key Competences for Life-long Learning as validated by Youthpass.
*        To offer participants the opportunity to broaden their outlook beyond their immediate localities and to develop linguistic and cultural competences.
*        To motivate the participants to assume responsibility within their organisations.
*        -To show the participants how to influence others towards a common goal;
*        -To link the youth work with the business sector.
*        -To promote Erasmus+.
*        -To promote Erasmus+ non- formal education with the use of non-formal methods throughout the training course.
*        -To give access to youth workers with fewer opportunities to a mobility activity that might be life-changing.

The project will comprise participants from:
 PRAXIS (Greece), SEAL CYPRUS (Cyprus), Institutul de Instruire in Dezvoltare "MilleniuM" (Moldova-Republic of) ,  ASOCIACIJA APKABINK EUROPA  (Lithuania),SEIKLEJATE VENNASKOND (Estonia), EXPRESS YOURSELF (Latvia),  EUROPEAN YOUTH CENTRE BRECLAV Z.S. (Czech Republic),  Storfors kommun (Sweden), Sdruzhenie OBZORART (Bulgaria). - FUSION-Intercultural Projects Berlin e.V (Germany).
”Leadership skills for Youth" will bring together 33 participants in 6-day training in Greece.

Official language
The official language of the training course is English.

Safety & Insurance
Throughout the project, every participant will be responsible for his/her own safety and insurance arrangements. (All participants should have European Health Insurance Card. Also make sure you have travel insurance.)

Arrival and Departure / Duration
The project will start on 08 September (arrival date) and end on 15 September (departure date). The project will last 6 days + 2 travel days.

“Tsaf Tsuff” Camp  health protocols: The protocols set strict framework for the organization and operation of the camps in order to prevent and treat the pandemic of coronavirus Covid-19.  The “Tsaf Tsuf” camp,  prepared a specific business plan for this summer, with priority given to safety and hygiene, but also the trainings and entertainment of all guests participants .

The travel costs that covered by the project
Cyprus -Germany -Lithuania- Estonia - Latvia -Czech Republic- Sweden- Moldova : 275euro [On this travel budget deduct 30euro for the local private bus from/to the airport to/from the venue.]
Bulgaria - 180euro.

How to get to the venue
- To easily get from Thessaloniki Airport:
From/to the airport to/from the venue by bus, that PRAXIS will rend it only for the project participants. This is the easily, safer and cheapest way. It costs 30 euro (go & return), this amount will be reduced from the international travel budget.
Travel costs will be covered based on the unit costs of the program. Please note that participants will be reimbursed the real costs of their transport fees up to a certain limit as per information below. Reimbursements will be transferring to your bank account after the training course on presenting all your financial documents.

Food
All meals will be provided. (100% lodging food are covered)

Final report
It is VERY IMPORTANT to reply the mail and fill the report after the project when will received an e-mail of "Erasmus+ individual participant report request. If you didn't receive the mail, please check your junk box.

ü  Fill in the application (attach) form and send to alevra@otenet.gr 
ü  Book tickets to fit the budget. DO NOT BUY them!!!! (Send us the travel plan and the total costs). You will buy them when we give you the “green light” maybe in the beginning of August. You have to wait for this. It is important!
